This state-of-the-art 200-bed homeless assistance center is in its second year of serving the homeless men, women and families.

The program is designed to be an eight week, full-service homeless shelter, with an average stay of sixty days.

This county facility is managed by the staff of the Broward Outreach Center.

Day services are provided by Saint Lawrence Chapel.

To better serve the homeless in South Florida, the Miami Rescue Mission (MRM) expanded their services into Broward County under the name, Broward Outreach Center (BOC).

The 130-bed BOC Hollywood offers a comprehensive program designed to meet the needs of South Broward County's homeless population. Clients are taught life skills that help them to develop goals for going back into the community as productive, tax-paying citizens.

In 2002 Broward County opened up the North Homeless Assistance Center (Broward Outreach Center - Pompano Beach), a 200-bed homeless assistance center in Pompano Beach, which is managed and staffed by Miami Rescue Mission employees.

The newest facility opened in 2004. Our Broward Outreach Center for Women and Children is, located adjacent to BOC-Hollywood, and provides services for 50 women, children and families.
